Nashville, TN (January 2, 2012) ----- Since its inception seven years ago Centricity Music has seen incredible growth every year, with 2012 bringing increased success from radio charts, videos and press for the label's talented roster of artists.

"2012 was a banner year for Centricity Music!," says Caren Siedle, General Manager, Centricity Music. "We started the year with Aaron Shust's single My Hope Is In You holding on to the #1 spot from 2011 for 8 more weeks, and then had our first rock chart-topper as Remedy Drive's single, Resuscitate Me, stayed #1 for 5-weeks. In addition, we had two Top 5 singles from Jason Gray with Remind Me Who I Am and Good To Be Alive, while we introduced our new band, Unspoken, whose debut song, Who You Are ended the year being selected as one of iTunes "Best of 2012" for Best Song in the Christian/Gospel category. We ended the year with Andrew Peterson's Light for the Lost Boy ranking #10 on USA Today's multi-format Top Ten Albums listing for 2012, and then had eight of the ten singles Centricity released last year making Billboard's year end tally with seven of the songs making the Top Ten."

Aaron Shust - After his powerful start to the year, Shust continued to have major impact on the charts with his single Risen Today reaching #17 on the AC Indicator chart, his current song We Are Free is #24 on the AC Monitored chart and #25 on the National Audience chart, and #9 on Billboard magazine's Christian Songs Artist category and #10 for Christian AC Songs Artist. All of the songs are from Shust's current album, This Is What We Believe. He toured this spring with labelmates, Jason Gray and Downhere, on the Called To Love Tour and also just finished a fall tour with Big Daddy Weave. Shust is currently in the studio with producer Ed Cash to start working on his new studio project that will release in summer 2013. In March, Shust will begin a spring tour with Mark Schultz which runs through May.

Andrew Peterson - Peterson released his critically acclaimed project, Light for the Lost Boy in 2012. The project was #10 on USA Today's Top 10 Albums last year and Peterson joined other high-profile artists on the list as Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen and Little Big Town. Light for the Lost Boy was also listed #5 on Christianity Today's annual best albums list, which lists Peterson right behind Springsteen at #4. Peterson gave a live performance of the new album at a release concert during his extremely popular Hutchmoot arts conference, which sold out in seven minutes even though the number of attendees doubled. Peterson started the year with a spring leg of the Stories and Songs Tour with Steven Curtis Chapman and then in the fall hit the road with Caleb in to support of his new project. Currently, Peterson is on his 13th annual Behold The Lamb Of God Tour that wraps on Dec. 20. In 2013, Peterson will make his Grand Ole Opry debut performance in January, begin a spring tour with labelmate Jason Gray, and release his fourth and final book in the Wingfeather Saga series. In January, Peterson will release his next single to radio, You'll Find Your Way.

Jason Gray - Gray continues to dominate the charts with his two Top 5 songs from his current project, A Way To See In The Dark, which led to Gray winning his second ASCAP Performance Award in 2012. The two songs were also in Billboard's year end special with My Hope Is in You listing at #8 for Christian Songs and Christian AC Songs, and Good To Be Alive at #19 at Christian Songs and #21 on Christian AC Songs. The popularity of the first single and Top 5 hit from the current album, Remind Me Who I Am also translated to over 3-million views online for the video, and the tune will be going for adds at radio in March. Gray remains one of the most active touring artists in Christian music having performed 124 dates in 2012, and earlier this year joined Aaron Shust and Downhere for the Called To Love Tour. And this year marked a first for the talented singer/songwriter, when he released his debut Christmas project Christmas Stories: Repeat The Sounding Joy and headlined his first Christmas tour that concluded December 9th. Up next for Gray will be the spring tour with Andrew Peterson and heading into the studio for his next project that will release in late 2013.

Remedy Drive - The band released Resuscitate, their debut project for Centricity Music in September. It featured three new band members joining founder David Zach and showcased 10 new songs. One of those songs, Resuscitate Me, became a 5-week #1 rock hit and was the first rock chart-topper for the label. The CHR single, Better Than Life, peaked at #12 on the CHR chart. The band will release their next singles in January with Glory going for adds at CHR radio and Make It Bright at Rock radio. A busy touring band with dynamic live performances, Remedy Drive will hit the road again in mid-January.

Unspoken -Centricity Music's newest signing came out strong on the charts with the first single, Who You Are, from their debut album, Get To Me. The Top 10 song has garnered strong radio adds from such powerhouse outlets as K-Love, FISH/Los Angeles, KSBJ/Houston, TX, and New Life Media, and landed high on the charts at #10 on the CHR chart, #19 on iTunes Christmas song chart , and #20 on the National Audience chart. The band's powerful stage performance was the highlight of Momentum 2012 with artists Jamie Grace, Blanca/Group 1 Crew and Dara Maclean tweeting about the impact of the appearance. Stay tuned for upcoming announcements about Unspoken in 2013, which will include a spring tour with Sanctus Real and recording additional new music.

While Centricity Music is celebrating the numerous successes in 2012, it's with great sadness that they say goodbye to one of the most respected groups in the Christian music industry, Downhere. The band announced in July that their 12- year music ministry would end in January 2013 and the Covenant Awards recently honored the band in 3 major categories, Album of the Year (On The Altar Of Love), Group Of The Year and Male Vocalist Of The Year (Marc Martel). We will miss you Glenn, Jason, Jeremy and Marc and wish you continued success with your new ventures.

2013 promises to be an even more incredible year for Centricity Music with upcoming album releases, exciting new tours and new artist signings on the horizon. To keep updated you can visit the label's website, www.centricitymusic.com.
